Exiled from Uganda to France in 1970, Geoffrey ORYEMA (1953-2018) was born into the nobility of the Acholi people. He learned pentatonic music, played the harp, the thumb piano, the flute, and finally the guitar, a symbol of Anglo-Saxon culture. This multicultural richness has established Geoffrey ORYEMA as one of world music’s greatest stars.
