Originally from Guadeloupe, Jacob Desvarieux lived in Senegal where he learned to play guitar with Youssou N’Dour. It was back in Paris that he met Pierre-Edouard Decimus with whom he created the mythical group Kassav’ while still pursuing his solo career.
