In the early 60s, Tabu Ley ROCHEREAU (1940-2013) submitted his songs to the African Jazz Orchestra, which then hired him. Ten years later, the nightingale of the Congolese rumba modernized this musical style by adding drums. This marked the beginning of continued creative success. In his 46-year career, Tabu Ley has composed more than 3,000 songs and sold thousands of records.
