Congolese singer-songwriter and arranger, André (or Yvon) MBemba-Bingui (or Bingui Mbemba), alias Pamelo Mounka (sometimes spelled Pamelo Mounk’a) or Pablito 1945-1996), has largely contributed to the development of Afro-Cuban music, especially Congolese rumba and the soukous style.
